Switchfoot finds World Peace - 3 Yanks, 2 Saffas, a Pom & 2 Aussies get tubed together
Early July Switchfoot hosted a mixed bag of surfers, each from a different corner of the globe and even though most of them are smart enough to live in the best country “Australia” we have to give credit to our mates from California to being the quite achievers of the trip in the water.
Gold Coast locals score sucky south Mentawai's on Switchfoot
About a month ago we had a group of young local shredders from the Gold Coast ( Luke Price, Coen Bedford, Luke Sullivan, Jarrah Hamlin, Blair Mandall, Zane Breen, Hugo Piston, Kane Ryan, Jason & Max ) all frothing at the bit to get pitted. The boys jumped on Switchfoot and proceeded to do exactly that for the next 10 days - slotted day after day and especially shacked at one little spot down the South of the Mentawai’s thanks to the guiding skills of Captain Jason Quinn.
June's waves come good for Sunny Coast locals.
The boys jumped on Switchfoot, put their faith in Captain Jason Quinn and scored straight away with two days of super fun 4-5ft offshore Lances Left.

Newport Boys - Set new Switchfoot fishing record!
Our 4th trip for 2019 from May 11th-22nd consisted of a group of lads from Newport on the Northern Beaches for Kian Stewarts 50th. The boys were keen to get some waves, get some fishing done and sink few tins and my god, did they gave it a pretty good nudge or what!
April in the Mentawai’s has been COOKING!
Only the third trip of the season and Switchfoot’s surfs guide Jason Quinn was on it again to create a perfectly navigated 11 day trip from the 12th till the 22nd of April 2019.
Our guests from the Goldy and Noosa ranged from 16 to 65 and were surfing 3 or more times a day and scoring cooking waves from North to South of the Mentawai’s
Mar 31st - Apr 8th 2019 Bra Boys & French
Jason Quinn got the best out of it as usual and navigated Swithfoot in position to hit 14 breaks over the 8 day trip with waves ranging from 3-6ft and light and variable winds most the time which made for really fun rippable conditions. Lances Left especially was a standout being a fun clean & perfect 3-5ft a few times
The first swell of the 2018 season delivers!
The first season season swell for 2018 exceed all expectations. While Bali did the usual circus act, our 52ft wave hunting machine called Switchfoot was quietly motoring out to the Mentawaiis for the first major swell event this season. Captain Jason Quinn had an inkling that a certain lefthander might be doing it's thing... and was it ever!
