June's waves come good for Sunny Coast locals.
2 weeks ago we picked up a bunch of legends from the Sunny Coast, ready to get some waves finally after little has been on offer back home over the last month. The boys jumped on Switchfoot, put their faith in Captain Jason Quinn and scored straight away with two days of super fun 4-5ft offshore Lances Left. From there they headed Sth down to the Thunders area as the swell dropped a little then headed back up to the North of the Mentawai’s for the end of the trip to surf the Playgrounds area with plenty of fishing and Bintangs along the way. Saving the best for last the fellas scored pumping 4-6ft Kandui’s and a super fun session at Four Bobs. A Big happy birthday to Brad who organised the trip, he was stoked to have such a hell trip with his mates - we hope to see you fellas next year for sure!
