A mixed group of Aussies from the Sunshine Coast and Victoria, along with two French individuals, came together for this adventure. Four in the group had secured their spots with pre-Covid bookings.

Sailing directly into the swell on the trip's first day truly got hearts racing—a definitive highlight. Some big, wide eyes when the sets started to build. A Great start to the trip.

The title of 'Frother of the Trip,' as voted on by the guests, was awarded to Layne Vayssie, a Tahitian-born Frenchman. It was his first visit to Mentawai and he was frothing in all types of waves.
